Introducing
Team Take & Bake
For a month of Sundays, these guys have been busy mastering the art of creating the frozen pies with guidance from Allissa, our production manager and Estevan our GM and pizza whisperer.
Our take and bake pies are New York style, hand tossed pizzas. These guys assemble, bake and flash freeze these pies, in house, with the same ingredients and kind attention and given to all our pies.
They have fun and GSD. From the left: Ben, Emery and Callan. They are all friends and work incredibly well together. So know your pies are made in good spirits. They are doing their best to keep us stocked, and they added two more flavors to the frozen pie vault collection: The Fire Cracker and Amazing Mushroom.
They are stealthy too.
They set-up, make 30 pies, clean up and you wouldn’t even know they were here, except the freezer is full and the pies are ready to package. Thanks guys!
Callan has been with Nino’s for almost 2 years. He works independently behind the scenes on Sundays, making sauces and setting up the shop for a successful week. You’ll be seeing more of him in the afternoons and evenings, learning to make pies during prime time with Ben. Callan your dedication to getting things right, doing things safely and having a good time makes you fun to be around. You are consistent, trustworthy and we have loved watching you grow.
Then there’s Ben. Callan referred Ben. Ben is our newest key holder. He makes pies and runs the show Thursday through Saturday. He is learning how to juggle all the demands of a busy night, lead a crew, rock the pizza station and still keep a sense of humor. Thank you for stepping up into leadership Ben. It’s a whole new ball game and you are doing great! We are so proud of you!
And along came Emery. Ben referred Emery. He started learning the ropes from Callan and Ben. You will also see him at the counter during prime time, expediting orders from the back to the front. Thank you for your willingness to learn new things and your positive mindset, Emery. It is not easy being new. Welcome aboard!
